I suggested opening an international forum to my friends and colleagues and in the year of 2008 we had our first meeting at my school, Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea. I wanted to make it a non-commercial and international platform of academic interaction. From the very first conference many colleagues were fascinated in making an active and friendly meeting which focused on the exchange of research and educational experiences. For the last fifteen years we had the conference twice every year. We focused more on intimate interaction than on extending the size of the congress. I was personally amazed by the huge dynamism the ITAM delegates showed. Everybody wanted to make ITAM a repeated and sustained interaction to better understand the research interests of other members, the hosting universities and institutes, and the culture and industry of the hosting country.
The ITAM Society has truly been a life-changing platform for me. It is the best organization to showcase innovative ideas from scholars worldwide and provides unparalleled exposure to cutting-edge technologies. The family-like atmosphere created by its members, combined with the collaboration of experienced professors across various disciplines, fosters an inspiring and supportive environment for researchers. Through ITAM Society, I have had the privilege of presenting my research articles and having proceedings published, which has significantly enhanced my scholarly career. The international paper presentation conferences organized every six months in various countries have not only provided global exposure but also allowed me to connect with PhD scholars, professors, and universities across the world.
I am deeply grateful to the ITAM Society for being an exceptional platform that has allowed me to present myself as a scholar and grow personally and professionally. Since joining ITAM in 2017, I have continuously experienced its enriching opportunities, connecting with distinguished professors and experts from various academic institutions worldwide. It has been a true privilege to be part of a community that fosters collaboration, innovation, and the exchange of knowledge on a global scale. As a member of ITAM, I strongly encourage scholars worldwide to join this esteemed society and take advantage of the unique opportunities it provides for professional development and academic excellence.
